20 Spectacular and Free Fonts

We all love design and many of us like to design posters for social issues, or illustrations for our self-design ego. We also love to use beautiful typography into our designs and since these are not for commercial use, we like to try new fonts, preferable FREE. In the meantime, there are so many fantastic designers out there that love to experiment and create new font faces and even better, they love to share them with us for free! Searching for some new typography inspirations, I found myself many such fonts for all kind of tastes. So, here I present to you 20 of those that inspired me more. Enjoy and share!

Aroly Font by Arvind Kumar

Aroly Font is a polygonal heading font. Since polygon made a huge trend, Aroly font was planned to be adaptable in all devices. First of all, high poly font with trigonal lines was created.

Anders Font by Tom Anders Watkins

This is an experimental project. Tom Anders wanted to create something he could give to everyone, almost as a thank you to the overwhelming support he has received of his work. Using influences from modern font design, Tom wanted something very minimal and a little unique, here’s the result.

Neptune is a typeface inspired by the aesthetics of the violence of Ancient Rome with contemporary influences.

Voga typeface by Charles Daoud

Voga is a condensed modern Didone typeface with three weights; Regular, medium and bold. Charles Daoud’s aim was to create a very elegant and “sexy” typeface with some unique letterforms based on the principle of contrast – curves vs. strong straight lines – thin hairlines vs. thick stems – ball terminals vs. geometric serifs. These caracteristics shape it into a glamourous display font primarily used for titles and large typography settings. Voga was inspired by iconic typefaces such as Bodoni and Didot. It has an extensive glyph set that supports languages for the Americas and most of Europe.

    Moon font looks similar to “Arial Rounded MT Bold”.
