Art Director, designer, and artist, Andrew Lewis sees things with a perspective like no other. He’s been known to climb inside the brain of a client, extract exactly what they had in mind, and then transforms that vision in a powerful visual story articulated in colours, textures, lines and movement.
Multimedia, brand identities, packaged goods design and poster art are only part of his repertoire. Constantly on the move, Lewis speaks around the world at symposiums from South America to China on the art and science of graphic design. His posters hang in private and international collections including The National Library of France, The Library of Congress in Washington D.C., El Instituto Cultural Cabanas, Mexico and the Merrill Berman Collection in New York City.
Lewis has represented Canada in international design biennials and exhibitions. His work is showcased in design textbooks studied by up-and-coming artists in Europe, Latin America and North America and Asia.
With over 625 posters in his library, Lewis’ work is the ultimate Rorschach Test of creativity and inspiration, sometime fueled by passion, sometimes politics and people and on the odd occasion, tequila.
