In honor of the 400th anniversary of WIlliam Shakespeare’s passing, Steve Heller and Mirko Ilić are creating a book that showcases poster design work for the bard’s many plays.
Your poster design for Shakespeare plays is a part of an amazingly rich legacy that only gets richer with every passing year. So, in honor of the 400th anniversary since the Bard’s passing, Steve Heller and Mirko Ilić are creating a volume with Princeton Architectural Press, that showcases some of the greatest graphic performance posters.
Steve Heller and Mirko Ilić are also looking to organize a major exhibition of the original posters to both promote the book and bring attention to Shakespeare’s continued presence in modern day theater.
DEADLINE for complete submission is January 1st, 2015.
Submitted designs must be PUBLISHED posters, no student and personal work, please.
