Chris Labrooy’s first used 3D as a simple tool to visualise ideas for furniture and products that he could not afford to produce. Mastering 3D techonology, and with the eye of an artist, Chris LaBrooy transformed into typographic and sculptural forms, everyday familiar objects. The intersection between typography, architecture, product design and visual art is what fascinates Chris LaBrooy. His work has been exhibited at the design museum in London and has been featured in many publications covering design, products, typography and illustration.
The project that follows is one of his experiments in colour, surface andintricating pattern making with yarns.
