André Sanchez is a Paris based illustrator/photographer. André’s is using a mixture of photography, graphics, typography, textures and of course imagination to create his beautiful artworks. Recently he focuses his interest in various creative fields of advertisement, fashion, print, editorial, music…
André Sanchez knew almost nothing about photography. It wasn’t even his dream to make a career in photography. His move to Paris though played a big role as he fall in love with the city and its architecture. And so he began taking photos capturing details of the buildings, objects and people, printed words, asphalt, wood, rust, leaves, mold…even ham. “A close up of a slice of ham adds incredible texture to a photomontage!” he says. Soon he’d created an image bank that would become his “brushes and colors” to “paint” his artworks. André taught himself, through trial and error, how to transform these images into amazing works of art. Since today, his baroque, multi-layered fashion shots and graphic art have appeared in books, magazines and newspapers in France, UK, Australia, Sweden, and the US. His mind, is in a constant research of new ideas and new dimensions to dive into.
On his portoflio you will have the pleasure to see his amazing compositions of flowers, animals, portraits, insects. From those, I distinguished and fall in love with the surrealist aesthetic compositions showcasing insects.
