Filippos Fragkogiannis is a graphic designer, based in Athens, Greece. He holds an MA in Visual Communication and a BA in Graphic Design from Vakalo Art & Design College and the University of Derby. Having collaborated with acclaimed graphic and type designers, in 2019 he established his own practice. His research-based approach is rooted in semiotics, symbolism and the structure of visual language. This letterhead design was part of a cohesive visual identity project for a friend of the designer. Filippos Fragkogiannis created the letterhead, business card and envelope for a photographer called, you guessed it, Simon. It’s simple, bold and, most importantly, you won’t miss or forget the name of the brand. The designer says: “Because it’s simple, clear and adjustable, the informational structure achieves a standardised visual system. It was created using the Classic Sans font by Gert Wiescher.”
Highpoint Homes is a London-based real estate management company providing services to landlords and tenants. Their new logo is made of solid typography and exudes stability. Colorplan Papers’ Citrine shade highlights the excitement of a new opportunity. The fonts used are Archivo by Omnibus-Type and the Times-inspired Wremena by Typefaces of the Temporary State.
