A World, Darkly Humorous, Dryly Satirical, Fanciful by Illustrator Britt Spencer

Britt uses ink and line to create a world that is darkly humorous, dryly satirical, and all a bit fanciful!!!

Britt Spenscer‘s illustrations use fanciful imagery often playing with exaggeration to add an element of joviality and an allusion to older satirical pen and ink artist. Accordingly the direction of his work often leads to political satire, wry wit, and an overall humorous tone. His favorite commissions involve any project in need of smut or a silly character.

Britt’s illustrations have won recognition by the distinguished Society of Illustrators NY and the Society of Illustrators LA.
Britt currently resides in Savannah, GA where he is a candidate for an MFA in painting. The concentration of his work in the painting market balances the narrative of illustration with the purposeful evasion of the finer arts.
