Osborne Macharia, owner of the “K63 Studio” is a self taught advertising photographer and commercial artist born and based in Nairobi, Kenya. His work has been acknowledged by Hasselblad, Leories awards, Lurzer’s Archive, Cannes Lion, One Show, Behance, Communication Arts and Design Indaba. Magazines and blogs around the world has published his unique and inspirational photographs. Osborne Macharia’s work is an inspiration.

“I failed a unit in my fourth year of studying for a degree in architecture and had to stay out for an academic year. During that year, I stumbled upon the photography of Joey L. That was when I knew I wanted to follow this path,” Osborne Macharia said to Communication Arts.
A failure that lead Macharia to turn a passion into an amazing career with clients such as Volkswagen, Kenya Airways, Oxfam, Guinness, Coca-Cola, Pepsi Co. etc
His work is inspired by his homeland, Kenya while he bases his projects on the three principles of identity, fiction and culture.
