Glenn Wolk is a New York-based graphic designer, who has to his credit some amazing works almost all hand-painted. As a child he wanted to become a painter, and after his father’s persistence he first studied graphic design but also continued school to get an MFA in painting. These years of studying formed his personal style. His portfolio showcases a range of projects from portraits to logos, ninety percent of them hand painted.
“There is a human, timeless element to hand-done work,” he says. “It suggests craft over machine. I think people are drawn to handmade things because we are bombarded by media that is generally hard-edged and computer created.”
