Graphic Designer Aviram Meir, presents a series of 6 posters about violence in a symposium in Erzurum, Turkey at 28-29 of June.
Design for Aviram is a tool, a language he can use to share his opinion and express his criticism about human behavior. As a designer he can’t make a change but he feels as his duty and responsibility to aware the world. As he told us: “Every one can do something and my way is a creative and powerful so I design posters. It is important for me to get a feedback and to create a discussion or debate about important issues. I’m not an artist, I’m a communicator using art.”
Aviram graduated Vital Center of Design in Tel Aviv, and worked in design offices and advertisement agencies. He worked with big companies and small clients. Recently he made a shift to academia. He is now the Head of Goren Academic school of Visual Communication & Design In Yesreel Vally Academic College (YVC) in Israel where he teaches graphic design. Aviram as a conscious graphic designer, creates posters for non profit cause.
