Retro Muppet Concert Posters

Michael De Pippo is a Freelance Art Director and Graphic Designer, currently living in Toronto, Canada. Michael’s love for design started at a very early age, when he used to tape Saturday morning cartoons only to pause and replay each frame to redraw every scene. His illustration style is heavily influenced by the vintage technique of animation from the 1950′s and 60′s.  He also loves toys, and has an extensive collection that started in early childhood. Michael has been working as a ‘big idea’ art director and designer in both traditional and digital advertising for close to 10 years.

In anticipation of the new Muppets movie, Michael De Pippo created a series of vintage concert posters for each member of Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. (You can read the original post here.) The bold and simple style was inspired by the 1970’s.
