Ribbon Typeface by Dan Gneiding

Dan Gneiding is a designer, illustrator, teacher and typographer. He resides in Philadelphia. Dan’s style fuses equal parts hand and computer with a few minor league printing techniques peppered in for good measure.  Dan likes his design like he likes his music; wearing it’s imperfections like a badge of honor.

Dan has gladly put his nose to the grind stone for Urban Outfitters, the Lost Type Co-Op, Anthropologie, Baseman Design Associates and Flux Labs.

Each book has a tie closure and a tag in true thank you gift fashion.

Eleven guest designers contributed designs to the book, all were amazing.
Dan Gneiding will focus on two of them here who’s designs
inspired new glyphs in the final Ribbon font. Olivia Verdugo’s  anchors,
pictured here, seems right at home as a character, and…

Chaun Osburn’s peace sign was too good to leave out.
I wonder why more typefaces don’t have a peace sign glyph?
