The Magnificent Rudi de Wet Studio | Inspirational Portfolio [37]

Rudi de Wet’s illustration, typography and design are characterized by their bold and energetic executions. He lives between Cape Town and Melbourne and produces work for all media and environments, for local and international clients from concept to craft.
Rudi de Wet has been awarded many times from “Loerie South Africa” silver, bronze and gold, “Cannes Lion Bronze”, “BAD Award”, and “Qantm Desktop CREATE”.
Below is a small collection of his amazing art. I particular love the Interior Mural Artwork for Wapping in London. Enjoy!

Rudi de Wet was invited to take part in another great exhibition to help generate funds for the flood victims of Queensland. Organised and curated by Gabriel Woodmansey & Anna Peters they put together two very successful shows in Melbourne and Brisbane.

Illustration for Brand Magazine

All the artwork is hand painted on the walls and floors

12 Artists from The Jacky Winter Group (including myself!) were selected by one of Australia’s biggest paper brands KW Doggett to illustrate a month for their 2011 calendar. I was given the privilege to do the cover as well as a month. Rudi’s type on the cover was embellished with holographic foil. Nice!
